my problems is 561 t installed operates fine except when remote started factory remotes will not unlock/lock doors.all wires hooked corectly.is this a programming issue? installed in 2001 ford explorer.

Factory remotes will not work when the car is running/ignition is on...Its normal for 90% of cars...

You can go to the keyless entry module find the black and pink wire test to make sure its ignition Then you can either cut it into or build a relay to interupt it when the truck is remote started.If you are using a dei product there is a yellow wire that is on the main harness it will only put out ignition when the key is on. You can cut the black and pink wire intoand hook this yellow wire up to the keyless side.
Seeing as though its a ford, it might be the same.
Going to see if that works in a few days, for a customer that wants remote start on his facotry remote (03 F150 though)
Has anyone out there interruput that BLACK/ pink wire? if so, does it affect the car in anyway? Also, does it even work?
