I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata and trying to install a viper 560xv.All features work except the remote start.when I try to remote start nothing happens.I am from Jamaica so everything on my sonata is on the opposite side of the car but all wires match U.S. model. No wire on the secondary harness (H2)is connected as I do not know what to connect to and what is the remote start activation input(WHITE/ blue wire)?.Normally when my key is removed all parking lights including headlamps go out.How will I get these to flash when the key is not in to activate them?sorry for the long post but I am new.Thank you all in advance

Did you connect the BLACK/ white wire to ground? That needs to be grounded to be able to activate. In addition to that you also have to connect your tach wire which is the PURPLE / white(double check) wire.  Also check to see if your car has an immobilizer.  As soon as you have those wires connected and the tach programmed(have one door open, turn car on, and hold the valet switch for 5 secs--you will hear a click if done correct).  Last after all that is done try to turn on with remote.  If the car turns but immediately shuts down then insert the key in the cylinder(dont turn just keep in cylinder) and remote start.  If it does remote start with key inside and not with key outside then you have an immobilizer that needs to be bypassed.  Good Luck

When remote started your parking lights(if connected) will flash.  Just as when your lock your door.  You will see them once for lock and flash twice for unlock.  When remote started the will flash in steady pace.  For your car you would connect the white wire that has an in line fuse to purple wire.  Also you have to trigger the key sense wire so that your factory alarm wont go off when remote started.  The key sense is either RED / blue or light green and is (+).  Just make you always use multimeter to double check connections.

yes you would use the RED / white wire to control it on the alarm harness.  It is a negative pulse, connect to green wire in the ETACM (Electronic Time and Alarm Control Module) which is attached to the fuse box below the fuses.  I think you dont really need a relay unless it doesnt have a strong signal.  try direct to that wire and it should work.  if it doesnt then use the relay

If car started then you dont need a bypass.  If car cranked but did not start then you need bypass.  Seems like you dont need a bypass.  To find a tach signal go to the engine.  Go to a fuel injector wire.  It usually is a 2 pin plug.  You might see them in series. You will see one wire that has the same color on those plugs.  The one that is different is the wire.  Just double check.  Try to fnd the wire there.  Also Ive checked for the tach signal and it shows that its a WHITE wire not blue.
