Hello all about to do a alarm/rs on a 03 vibe and was wondering if there is anything special I should know about. I had looked at the wire diagram and it said to use the keysense. has anyone else had to use the keysense and if so did it have any effects on the car later?

You need to send a ground while running signal to the key sence. This will prevent you from needing to disarm before remote starting.

That keysense stuff is BS.
There is no Vibe with a factory alarm, unless maybe a rare instance where it has the dealer-installed Toyota VIP security systme.
Don't need keysense.

I think the people writing those tech sheets need to go out and get more coffee or something. They miss/ignore/neglect a lot of things.
The 2005-up Toyotas do have the transponder key, but still don't have the factory alarm.
Matrix, Corolla, or Vibe, none of them have a factory-installed alarm, at least not that I've ever run into.

FACTORY ARM Green On BLUE 15-pin plug in driver's kick   -
This wire also locks the doors. When using this wire, no connection to the lock wire is needed.
FACTORY DISARM Blue / YELLOW On BLUE 15-pin plug in driver's kick   -
A single pulse disarms the alarm and unlocks the driver's door. A double pulse unlocks all doors.
