Working on a 2006 Mazda 3 very base model with no power options.

Want to add doorlock actuators in each door ( for keyless entry) but having problems with the install :

1.) vehicle has a cable mech that locks and un-locks vs. typical metal rods.

2.) mounting an actuator interferes with putting back the door panel.

Does anyone else have experience with this type of installation?

If you already have the actuators then DEI sells the 524CL cable lock kit, around 15 bucks U.S. Google it.
Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

Thanx, I will check that out.

The size of the actuators are also a problem.

Can't seem to position them anywhere where it will not interfere with the door panel being put back on.
