I have a valet551r in my 96 accord and they since then they upgrade to a valet 561. i was wondering if i have to uninstall the old one to put in the 561? or can i just change out the module and use the conncetor from the 551? since the 561 is and upgrade to the discontinued 551

Thanks for letting me know I hoping i didn't have to. It would seem to me that it would more of an advantage for the company to make it easier just to change out modules or something where you don't have to do a complete reinstall  (especially if it's just an improvement of a older model),  rather than do a whole new install because now that give a person switch to another brand if the do choose too.

Thanks for the reply

i would put a valet 562t in and you can upgrade later on without needing to rewire. just swap modules and antenna. Then youre done.
