sounds like you know jeeps, any idea why I can't program a third key from what it says in the manual? ...and I don't have that option in my overhead display.

Get  the CHDL6-PK2 made by Trilogix.  This will control locks and will do the immobilizer bypass.  A little trick I have learned on programing the bypass is to ground the wait to start wire first.  Make all your connections.  when prompted to put the bypass next to the key cylinder and power up the ign wire with "jumpers'  you can just remote start the car and it will power them up for you while you are programming.  I think its a less of a pain to use these modules and will make your install easier and cleaner.  Not to mention that the name of the game is to make a fast and clean professional install.

the liberty diesel i have not worked on first hand,(d.e.i. doesnt even list a wait to start wire as neither does audiovox, so this might be a non u.s. imported vehicle) but if it is like other new chrysler and ford diesels the wait to start is controlled thru data, therefore if your remote start doesnt have a diesel wait time option in the programming you will need to wire in a pulse timer relay d.e.i. makes one i believe it is a 528t( but ive been removed from dei for a while and dont know the part #'s by heart anymore)also, some new chryslers have been known to have the key progrsmming locked out from the manufacturer and may need the service dept to unlock it with their computer
good luck and keep us posted
