Hi I'm new to this forum and also to the car customizing world. I need some help with adding powered locks to my new flush tonneau cover for my truck.
My truck is a 2003 Chevy S10 with a Checkmate flush tonneau cover. My truck also has a shaved tailgate so my only option to secure my belongings in my truck bed is to install a powered door lock switch on the inside/underside of my tonneau cover.
I don't want to drill a hole through my new tonneau cover for manual locks.
I have a Viper 791xv 2 way/alarm/remote start system installed. I believe it has 2 AUX output switches.
Could you guys help me out on this project? I know a little about relay switches and stuff. I was wondering if you guys can point me out on a diagram. Tell me what parts I need.
I'm also trying to do this cheap. hehe
Thanks in advance!
