If I start my engine using the remote start I am unable to kill the engine using the vehicle key. It will stop running if I use the remote to kill the engine. Any idea why this may be happening?

so to be clear, you start your car with the remote starter, then drive around, then when you put it in park and take out the key it still runs? sounds like the brake wire is not hooked up. easy test is to remote start the car and then press on the brake(without the key in) if the car stops then the brake wire is fine if not then you definately have an issue with that wire. if it is not the brake wire then there are a couple other possibilities like maybe a turbo timer/quick stop is engaged or some other quirky things.

Good point. I am having some issues with my SL2. I don't think it programmed correctly. I think the brake input is supposed to be covered with the SL2, I'll have to verify. Thanks for the response.
