I just bought an '04 Mazda 6 with a remote start system. Everything seem to work okay except I'm not getting any audible indicators, just the usual parking light flashing. The remote is a 4 button "Clifford" and the module has "Directed Electronics Inc" on one side and "3500" on the other side. I found an owner's manual online for a Sidewinder 3500 ESP and although the manual is pretty vaque, that seems to be pretty close. What I'm looking for is an install / programming manual. I want to change the runtime and connect the system to the horn. Also, I'm not sure if this system also doubles as an alarm or not. If so I would like to put in a siren.

Thanks,

Tom

That sounds to me as if you have the Sidewinder 3500ESP with a Clifford remote programmed to it. DEI contacted me specifically and told me that posting manuals is a direct violation of their policies so I can no longer post any manuals. Maybe someone else can post the manual for you.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
