Started to install my first Ultrastart the other day. I have been doing crimestopper for the past couple of years. I got everything hooked up and soldered. Went into the tach set up and all went well. The unit confirmed the tach setting. Hit the start button and nothing happens. I tried to reprogram the transmitters and they would not confime they where done. Locks and everything do not function at all.. Any little trick I might be missing on programming the transmitters????

It is an 05 Ford Five hundred. Had a Crimestopper piece of crap starter in it. Replaced it with this Ultra... Unit just seems non responsive like the transmitters are not programed.....

When you try to start it are the pking lights flashing, how many blinks do you get? If not make sure you don't have it in service mode, indicated by the leds on solid (antenna)

I have taken it n and out of service mode.. no leds on now.. and there doesnt seem to be any diagnostic codes in the memory because I get no flashes on the leds. I had left the fuse out of the parklights because I wanted to make sure i programmed the right polarity, i cannot imagine that being an issue, I hear the relay activate when I am changing program modes... These units are just new to me as far as programming goes... I need to get more time to work with these.. Thanks for your help by the way.....

the RED / white doubles as either trunk release or negative trigger parking lights. white wire with fuse is only postive trigger.

Sounds to me like the remotes need to be programmed.
And about your comment about leaving the fuse out of the parking light wire....
The white wire will always be a (+) output, and the RED / white wire will always be a (-) output. The programming option your are referring to is the function that each wire controls. By default white is parking light, and RED / white is trunk release. After you change the programming the white is trunk release, and RED / white is parking lights.
