I was wondering which power wire you guys/gals use for powering an alarm and all of it components. this would be for a 2006 g6 basic model.

For remote starters it is suggested to run power to the fusebox (pass. Side of center console) or to the battery. Use the RED / WHITE at the ignition switch for low current devices such as modules only.

which wire is the input wire in the fuse box? there is a red and black stripe wire but it is only like a 14ga cable. i can see to find which one is the one straight from the battery. which plug inn the fuse box is it going to be??
