hello fellows, i have a customer who want a remote starter in his 2006 525i, with this car you have to step on the break and use a normal key at the same time to start the car,, i have an inteface for the pdl and oem alarm but this car ignition wiring is in a ribbon form, how do i go about it with this ribbon issue?, has anyone done one of this 2006 525i?,
and how do i intergrate the step on break and start with key at the same time?, thanks all, thanks to velocity motors in advance for your valued tech advice.

Where does the ribbon wire go to? Somewhere down the line you are going to find that ribbon becoming the normal purple, light green and light green /black (or BLACK/ green).  Suggest fuse/conrol box. Status output from  R/S to a relay pull the brake leads to 87 and 30

Use an int-bmw-1 from fortin with a can-sl2 that will do everything you need
