Hi to all!

I'm currently installing a two horns.  One stock and one stebel horn.  I'll use the stock horn in busy streets and I'll just use the stebel horn in highways.  Can somebody share a diagram how to install a toggle switch including the relays connected to the horns.

Do I need 3 relays?  1 for stock horn,  1 for stebel horn and that is connected to the toggle switch?

Thankyou in advance

Help us to help you and let us know what what vehicle, other wise this is an assumption:- 2nd_horn.bmp
Or place the air horn relay to feed off the regular horn feed, this will give you a time delay, soft press for regular, hard and longer for air horns.

tell us more about what the vehicle is and whick model stebel horn you are using. it would be nice to know the current draw since some stebel draw quite a bit..... that is if its an electric stebel.

if thestebel draws less than 25 amps and you have access to tap into the OEM horn wire under the hood.

use a weatherproof relay or weather protect a standard bosch relay/socket/wires and use the following schematic.

leave the switch up (closed) on the highway.

Sorry, still unwell, thanks for getting my point over, itsuyuk, also thanks for that nice relay layout.
If you control the horn button with some finesse, you won't need the switch, there's always a momentary delay between the first OEM relay and the second, same principle as home brewed lock priority.
Mine's wired exactly as your diagram, extra parts, NIL.

COPD (Emphysema) spent Fri-Tue under a forced breathing mask in intensive care after respiratory system failure, the irony is that I gave up on 50 years of smoking 30+ a day 3 days before!
Still came out losing 20lbs in weight and I haven't smoked since so there is a silver lining.
Thanks for asking.

sometimes you dont fall into convetional "catagories".

i was the only person in my family who didnt smoke, NEVER drank anything, never was sick or even have the flu my whole life. didnt even take aspirin or anything for headaches. hit life hard bicycling, frisbee, jet skiing, softball.

had a heart transplant in december of 2008. you never know.

i hope it all works out good for ya.

I hope YOU are fine now, you're so right, all my Dad's brothers smoked (non-tipped) like chimneys and all outlived him.
I've actually been expecting this "warning shot" for at least 15 years but we get oh so complacent don't we.
My old excuse was no drinking, gambling or cussing* so allow me one vice but that doesn't wash in the modern world.
*OK, I bent the truth on the cussing bit but we all know how many times I've been kicked off Platinum for opening my big mouth.
I ought to take a course on anger management when dealing with morons!

Thank you guys for sharing.  I'll install it to an old corolla GLi 1994 model vehicle. I'll be using stebel magnum together with the stock horn.  In the future I'll be replacing the stock horn with an air horn (maybe a fiamm one)

Kindly see my diagram and correct me if I'm wrong.  Thank you
