Does anyone have a chart showing Bosch relay configurations with part numbers? There are no search criteria on their web site - it just gives you a big long list. I'm looking for a dual-87 with diode suppression. I found the Tyco equivalent, but can't find a retailer for it or figure out the Bosch part number.

Thanks,

Shawn

Tycho took over the Bosch rights to manufacture, hence Bosch/Tycho.
The dual 87 is known as a type 87b.
I've never seen it with a built-in quenching diode though that doesn't mean there isn't one.
I would imagine the Tycho number supercedes any Bosch number.
Try Farnell or Mouser.
Hope you have good glasses.
Also Panasonic, Omron all make the same pattern either Bosch/Tycho cube aka "mini relay" or the half sized "micro relay".

this catalog is a little older but the number are still valid
Relay catalog
I don't see a dual 87 or any dual make relay the incorporates a quenching diode
This information is provided only as a reference.
All circuits should be verified with a digital multi-meter prior to making any connections.

Thanks fellas. I knew Tyco took over, but thought that since I couldn't find it under the Tyco number maybe it was still stocked under the Bosch number. The Tyco part numbers were pretty easy to come up with since you can drill down your search on their website.

Start here: http://www.te.com/catalog/bin/TE.Connect?C=15355&M=FEAT&P=160779,167363&U=&BML=10576,16453&LG=1

Then these 4 data sheets pretty much cover all 12V (and 24V) automotive relays. The chart on the last page of each one is a quick way to come up with part numbers.

The one I'm looking for is here: http://www.te.com/catalog/bin/TE.Connect?C=1&M=BYPN&TCPN=2-1904011-1&RQPN=2-1904011-1#features

How about a dual-87 with resistor supression? It doesn't appear that Tyco makes one.

Thanks,

Shawn

How do you get a single space between lines on here! This is driving me crazy.

It seems those data sheet links aren't working directly for some reason. If you copy the address into the address bar, they bring up the .pdf data sheets.
