Question....  i want to run a lot of neons ( tubes, headlight accents) and other things for the future. is it possible to "piggyback" more than one relay for the same purpose? is it safe to run my headlight neons with the others?...confused........

thanks in advance

If you have one relay with about a 12 guage wire for your constant 12 volts you will have the ability to run a whole lot of neons .Neons dont draw much current so 12 guage is verry exagerated but if you wanted the ability to add over 80 neons or so then go ahead with the 12 guage wire on pin 87 of the relay and the same on pin 30 to the neons this can now be your main feed for a whole lot of neons or leds. But to answer your question most of the time there is no relay needed for multiple neons unless you are turning these on from a low current device such as a switch or maybe an aux channel of an alarm. If yo have about 5 or 6 led 12 inch light bars you would only draw maybe 1 amp so multiply that by 40 and that is what 1 relay can handle.

yes it is safe to run head light led's with others i have 15 led's going in my car without a relay and it is just fine. Keep in mind of the current draw of all components added together to make sure you are powering them from a reliable source the main power wire(constant to the ignition switch) is perfect or the battery directly.
