I have a 92 Ford Explorer with an aftermarket Pursuit Alarm, the alarm dates back to 93. I want to add illuminated entry, and make my exterior lights stay on untill I start it. How would I go about doing this?

hmm.....let see if i can help you, sounds complicated
1-find the light wire, then cut the wire
2-relay: 85-ground when arm (starter kill wire, might   need to use a diode)
        86-12volt
        30-input polarity of the light
        87a-output of light
3-an ign wire with a relay to reverse pol to (-)output to the above 85(need a diode). this part will cut off when engine start
this is an idea i just thought of at12am, iono if it will work
