I have installed the Avic Z1 Nav in a 2007 Tahoe. With the install of the GMOS-LAN-01 I was able to retain factory chimes ect. However the LAN01 instructions say that to retain turn signal clicking I would need to add an SPDT relay to the set up. I followed the following instructions.
1. Connect Pin 85 to the BLACK/ white wire of the 12 pin harness (lan01)
2. Connect Pin 86 to the 12 volt constant of the 12 pin harness (lan01)
3. Cover All other leads.
So far the only thing that I get is a clicking when the chimes turn on. I would appreciate if anyone has some advice on this. Thanks in advance for the help!

Well that is what it is supposed to do, give you a click when the turn signals turn on and off. What effect were you looking for? Is it causing any trouble for you anywhere else?

I just did the same thing on my 64 VW Bug

I hooked the Relay to the Flasher and Ground.
