Hi , I need some help here . We are working on A bunch of 2005 and newer Crown Vics . We need the driver door trigger wire to trigger a function on our video system . All the info I have found tells me it's dark blue and inside the door . But it's not triggering our function right . Is this wire a low voltage trigger ? Do we need to use a relay ???? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated !!!!
Thank You .

No need to go inside door, no relays required.

You'll find the driver's door trigger down low in driver's kick in a brown plug. It's dark blue and will give a solid "negative" signal when the door's open.

The other three doors are common on a BLACK/ orange found under the drivers door sill plate. Also negative trigger.

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

And this is on 05 and newer Crown vics ?
I looked in the kick panel and could not find the dark blue any where . I could only find it inside the door going into the door module .
