Does anyone know if there are any special procedures that must be done when installing a Viper 790XV with remote starter into a 2002 Chevy Tahoe? I read this in an earlier post "You must diode isolate these wires." What would happen if they are not isolated? I need to know if my installer is skipping some procedures when installing my alarm. This will be the 4th time I'm having my alarm re-installed because the BCM on my truck keeps shorting out. My GM service rep. told me that the computer in newer cars/trucks are so sensitvie that any "resistance" could short out the computer. If this is true why haven't I read about anyone else having the same problem?
