Hi i'm new to this forum and it seems like it's extremely interesting. I'm a proud of owner of an older but very comfortable 1988 Grand Marquis. I've always liked the older cars alot better than newer for some odd reason lol..

I live in Chicago and it's gets really cold in the winter... and my tank doesnt heat up as quickly as newer cars i'm not complaining my car has treated me very well.. other than the heater taking 15 minutes to blow out hot air and me having to warm up the car for a while.... my car is parked around 400 feet from my house and was wondering if i can use a remote car start sort of thing... and if so do you guys have a wiring diagram for it? I would really appreciate the info.... I feel like i have a beater compared to all the new cars posted... thanks, Jim

Car specs 302 EFI. Automatic Transmission, power interior everything it seems like.

Let me take a look and see if I can find some info on your car. If not, don't worry grab you a meter and test all the wires. That's how the old school installers use to have to do it. Some installers still do it that way.

Be sure to still test with a DMM not a test light. You some of these tech sheets are wrong. Good luck..hope this helps.
