remote start for older cutlass

i want to hook up my remote start to my old 1980 oldsmobile cutlass and cannot find the correct wires for the life of me

i have the rest of the alarm in and i just want to put the rest of in.

i have the viper 790xv. i have the wire colors that i need buy cannot find them. the wire guide says ( at ignition switch harness) i just want to know if these wires are behind the fuse box in the huge bundel of wires???????

The ignition switch harness is after your key switch.

is it the ribbin of wires ryte on the steering collum and they are all next to each other.....i tryed to cut the wire to see if the car wouldnt start and it did.  i cut the pink and it started and then i put that wire back together and thei cut the purple and it still started???????/
