I have a 1996 ford probe gt.The air bag's were stolen from the car, the problem is that the air bag light stays on all the time. i know i can remove the bulb but i don't want to do that. There must be a resistor i can install into the plug were the air bag was atttached. how does the system know if the air bag is hooked up or not? does it sence the resistence on the line if it does then a resistor can be installed.

life is to short so live it to the fullest.

there should be a fuse for the air bags either one for the light alone or one for both just take that out i mean it sounds like youdont have any , anyways so it would not make a difference.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
