Im trying to instal a Autometer tach into an 05 nissan frontier. Iv been told it couldn't be done, and after looking and finding out the Tach has an AC signal, im not sure what to do, Can this be done? What do i need to get and do?

The Autometer will accept an AC signal, just tap into an injector or the coil.

Hope this helps I always get the tach wire insde the car whenever I do Remote starters on this car the Tach wire is Pink/Blue and is behind the instrument cluster, but I take a shorthcut , if you look Way above the brake pedal, you will see a bundle of wire leading behind the cluster , there are about 2 wires make sure you get the right one, or do as Velocity Motors posted.
