I would like to make the power antenna work with my aftermarket stereo.   I have tried hooking the 12v acc wire from my headunit to the antenna's wires without any luck.   The antenna assembly itself has a 6 wire connector with two larger wires which are +12V and ground and 4 smaller wires.  Two are BLACK/ red , one is grey/pink  (or maybe pink/grey...I looked at it yesterday so i don't remember exactly) and the other wire is....well i don't remember that one either.  Anyways, the BLACK/ red and grey/pink  are on my factory headunit connector, so i suppose that those two are the ones that matter to make the antenna work.

.....anyway, long story short, if anyone knows what i need to do with these wires to make the antenna work, i'd greatly appretiate if you could tell me

  thanks

just hook up the aftermarket headunit with a toyota wire harness and it should work. The factory toyota harness is on the right wall after you take out the headunit. It should be a pair of harness, one is for the rear speakers and the other is for the fronts and other wires.

I suppose i could buy a wire harness, but it would be pretty lame to waste money on it just for the antenna.
