Hello all. I have AVIC D1 installed into 1998 Nissan Maxima. The unit was bought second hand.

After the installation I noticed following problems: The sistem is showing power voltage as 256 Volts in the system status as well as in test mode service menu. Also, the system does not see any speed sensor pulse, and last, the system never gives out voice commands.

Having these problems does not affect the navigation in general. I can enter the destination and use the navigation to get where I need.

Also any of the A/V functions are not affected.

If anybody has an idea of what is wrong with my AVIC I would greatly appriciate your help.

Thank you for your time reading this post!

Yes, I did have this same problem.  I ended up taking it back to Best Buy under warrenty, and they fixed it.  I can't remember what had to be replaced, but it was physically broken.
