HI,

I just picked up a pair of TME-M580's with headrest kits. Ive been reading how Alpine uses p/brake and e/ brake to allow video only stopped. Since Im installing in rear headrest I have been reading how to omit this wiring so the kids can watch Sponge Bob as we cruise down the road. I saw on a similar post to pin the #2 wire slot and ground it. My question is: Do i just leave the p&e/brake wires unattached. Or do I need to run a Pac7 relay.

Thanks in advance

Not sure if you figured it out already, but I need your help too..lol... I ran the relay on mine and followed the wiring diagram that came with the unit to bypass for "rear seat" viewing.
However, I just had one crack and am in need of replacing it. Can you tell me where you git yours from cuz everywhere I look it says they are discontinued :(
