hi i have a 03 trailblazer tnf edition with the second radio in the back. I just recently bought the vizualogic headrest package for my kids and i'm planning to hook it up myself. I have a lot of questions so any answers will be very helpful no matter if it is lame.
Question:
1)it came with two a/v box. one a/v box have three monitor out. do i just use one? cause the old model is one for each and i don't know how the old one look like.
2)the car is equip with two radio. when the front is on, the back also can turn on cutting the rear speaker to headphone. is there two radio plug in the car? is there another place to hook up the fm modulator beside the front radio?
3)where would be a good place to mount the tv tuner ant(2). where would be the best place to mount them? together or separate?
4)Is it better to hook up the 12v,acc,grd to the radio or run it to the ing?
5)do i really need to hook up the parking brake wire and what is it purpose?

1. How many headrests are you putting in? If less than three then you should be fine with just running 1 box.
2. I always hook up the FM mod behind the radio at the front. I didn't think there was an antenna lead at the rear audio controls but honestly I never really checked so who knows. By the way you will need a pair of GM antenna adapters as well if you don't have them already.
3. Never used these but usually in each rear window area or one across the top of the front window and one across the rear would be alright..I still wouldn't expect a whole lot out of them though.
4. You won't find an ignition lead at the radio so don't bother..Go to the ignition switch..Red - constant / Pink - ignition
5. If your installing seat back headrests in the front seats then there is no need to worry about this wire and the instructions should tell you how to disable the feature should it give you problems. . If your installing a monitor upfront (they make visor monitors as well) they want this connected so it won't function unless the ebrake is on.
Hope that helps..Good luck,
Mike

Actually on the vizualogics you have to use two of the video outs or else when you hook up an external video source like a play station, you wont be able to watch DVD on one screen and play video games on the other. It will work one at a time on both screens

Also, for some reason on the the trailblazers, we were getting a lot of  alternator whine from the fm modulator (actually every car we used Vizualogic on) We found that you need to run good shielded rca cables and use the biggest rca noise filter available and put it near the fm modulaor. You dont have to buy an expensive one, for some reason the cheapest ones work best, for us... $6.00 or so at the most.

If you use the DVD source on input 1 and the playstation on input 2, it should work fine. Just switch the screens themselves between aux 1 and aux 2.

Same here..I've done 1 car that didn't need any type of noise filter. Same as you we put a barrel type RCA noise filter inline right before the fm mod and that takes care of it everytime..
