I have indash dvd pioneer dvd7300&8000r brain. I have problem that the sreen just black out. I did hook the green wire to my parking brake. unlock the safety feature then just black out. my question do i need pioneer cd head unit to hook up this indash dvd? thank you for your time reading this.

Does it black out when you disengage your parking brake or is it black all the time?

black screen all the time when i connect to parking brake nothing playing. when i disengage the parking brake the message come up''do drive while watching tv'' . am i doing something wrong please help. thank for you reply Rabenoja.

did you try just grounding out the green wire? try to do that maybe its not really sensing your parking brake signal?

I'm not try to grounding the green wire I just hook up the to the parking brake switch. I mean i got question from the brain got green wire also this wire have to connect to parking brake? i try it but no luck i also try just ground the green wire samething black screen won't play? also i got no radio? i did hook the antenna up. thank for you reply

I had this problem with mine one time. I switched the RGB around to the other side of the master unit and worked.

I have try it same problem. i hear is play dvd but the screen black? any one have this problem with this combo?

I understand what you are trying to but take the green wire and conect it directly to a ground. If the picture comes on then you have a problem with the ebrake wire or you hooked it up to the wrong side of the switch. If it doesnt work then you may have a internal problem
