I have a pioneer AVIC-N1 installed in my 2000 nissan frontier and get engine noise coming through the speakers.  I have tried a couple different grounds and neither have solved the problem.  Any other suggestions to rid me of the engine rpms playing through my speakers?

I' ve had the same problem out of a few of those units, also a DEHP8600MP I sold to a customer has the same problem. Talked to a rep and he claimed I was the first to have this problem. I've talked to people in other cities that were having this problem. I think it has do with the plug for the RCA'S.

Thanks.  I had a DEHP840MP did the same thing.  Anyone else with advice would be appreciated.

Normally this noise comes from power wire, not for this special model, but in general I use this Filter:
"NS10 Pyramid Easily Installed, 10 Amps, Reduces and Eliminates Engine Interference, Compatible w/Receivers, Equalizers & Amplifiers"
You can buy it from this link or in ebay:

Hope this helps...
