I just purchased a kenwood kvt-815 dvd monitor w/dvdreceiver and installed it onto a 99 chevy tahoe i hooked up everything but the green parking brake wire. well this affect the playback of dvd's because when i put one into the unit you can get the sound but no picture that's the only wire that i left off. can't understand why there's no pucture when you put in a dvd. please help me solve this one. chris.

Yup, just hook the green parking brake wire to the wire coming off of the back of the parking brake and you will be good. After you have that hooked up then all you have to do to watch the dvd is to put the parking brake on.

Just ground the wire that is supposed to be connected to the hand brake.
