I want to swap my AVIC-N1 for either a N2 or D1. I had the N1 installed by a local install shop. I have the interfaces for Onstar and GM Chimes installed. I also had the XM installed. Does the N2 and/or D1 use the sames harness as the N1? Can I just pop the unit out and pop in the new one? If I have to change a couple wires around, I can do that. If it will require to re-wire everything because of a new harness, I am just going to skip it. Thanks.

N2 uses the same wiring.  You will have to access the hide-away box and switch that too though
