It's located at the PCM under the hood, next to the brake master cylinder. On diesel vehicles the vss wire is in pin 22, in the top plug. The wire color is GRAY/BLACK pin #1 top plug for gas engines.

Hey, Jeff. Thanks alot for the info. Is it ok to unplug the top connector without disconnecting the battery? Or should I disconnect positive cable first? Also, I'm not sure how the pin arrangement works, Is there only one black and gray wire? If these are real stupid questions, I apologize. Thanks again.

Thank you, everyone for your help. You guys probably don't do many Ford vans, but I found the gray/black speed sens wire in the middle plug at the PCM, not the top plug. It must be the proper wire cuz it's getting the signal. Thanks again.
