I have an '05 Altima and getting ready to install the Avic D1 into the car. I have the stock (non bose) unit but have cruise control. What color is the vss wire I have to tap into and where can I find this at?

Thanks

David

NISSAN, ALTIMA, 2005, Speed Sense
On vehicles without the 5 speed automatic transmission, can also use blue / YELLOW behind the instrument cluster.
Speed Sense pink or black      radio harness (Midline or BOSE only)

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

So I assume there is only 1 blue / YELLOW on the harness going the inst cluster then? Unless I find the pink or black in harness, but normally black is ground so what color would that be in the radio harness then?

Did you find the speed wire. Where did you find it and what colour was the wire. I'm trying to find it myself to hook up my AVEC 3. Plus did you get the reverse wire hooked up. Where did you find it and what colour was it.

Thanks
