this is the problem I face...
I am an MECP certified installer looking for a little help wiring up this pyle model plvwr7200 flip down unit. The flip down has been eliminated and I am left with a screen and a wire bundle at the top. I just need to know what the wires are so that I can splice some rca inputs etc to it. I am trying to use this screen for a backup camera monitor for right now. These are the wires I am faced with:
Bare wire (guessing it is ground)
Thicker red
Thinner red
White
Black
Yellow
If I could just figure out what is what I could wire up some connectors and plug in the camera. Thanks for your help and home this isn’t asking too much. Thanks – Kurt Massey < color=#666666>krmass25@verizon.net

Is the thicker red wire a shielded cable?

ok  figured this much out....  the two larger wires are the main power and ground.  I hooked them up to the battery and the screen came on all white pretty much. it looked like when my sega game gear powers on... :)  Anyway  I know those are that.  that leaves 4 more wires.  I am confident that that smaller red and black wires are for the audio input.  that leaves white and yellow (which are video colors a lot of the time) and aren't there supposed to be two wires for a video connection?  I will know when I get my camera won't I?   btw  the pictures are at the bottom of the post  did anyone see them?>?
