I have a pyle PLVWR5600 roof mount screen and a pyle PLTVD700 dvd player and am having trouble with the wiring. I have a block connector with a red, black, yellow and blue coming out of it can you tell me what each is for. I havent much experience at fitting one of these so any help will be appreciated

The yellow wire is to be connected to a constant 12 volt wire.   The red wire is to be connected to a wire that gets 12 volts when the ignition switch is turned on.    The blue wire is the amplifier turn on wire.     The black wire is your ground.

what if I haven`t got an amplifier for the blue wire to connect to ? Does this mean I have to buy one ?

Does the unit have speaker wires on it also??     If it does, no you do not need to buy and amp. 

The blue wire is amp turn on and possibly power antenna, to raise your power antenna when the radio is on.   If you have no amp and no power antenna, you do not neeed this wire.  You do need to insulate the end of it if not being used.  It has 12 volts on it.
