Yes, it uses sentry key. It has the remote head, but still similar. You can use the directions in the Owners Manual. Under "Customer Sentry Key Programming" If you purchase the key from the dealer your gonna pay too much! Buy it from a local lock shop... cheaper!

agreed. Place key into ignition, turn on, security light flashes, once it turns off place new key in, start the car. I might have missed a step !

I wasn't going to be a post whore, thats why i told him to use the owners manual! But seriously, you totally botched that one!
1. Insert first valid key, turn ignition on until security lights shuts off. Turn ignition off. 2. Insert 2nd valid key, wait until security light turns on and starts flashing. let it flash for at least 3 times, turn ignition off. 3. Insert 3rd key, turn ignition on. Wait for security light to start flashing, after 110 to 60 seconds (depending on which Dodge/Chrysler vehicle you are working on) the light will stay on for a second or two and a chime will sound. Then start the vehicle with that key. If no chime is heard, try starting vehicle anyways.
Don't be fooled though. I have had the vehicle start after its done programming the key even though it's not actually programmed. It stays in the programming mode for some reason and still allows the vehicle to start.
Wait for 1 or 2 minutes for vehicles programming mode to time out and then start vehicle with 3rd, newly programmed key.
I've been told that the new '06, '07, '08 vehicles with the remotes on the head of the key have the SKRIM (scream) chip, which is different then the "tan" & "gray" Chrysler keys. So you need the key with the "S" on the blade.

thanks they lost the 2nd key at work so they sent the lot boy to the dealer had had one made. because there was only one key I couldn't program the bypass. I used a DEI 556C, with that one you don't need a third key because the chip is in the bypass.
