I sent you both the pic and the document
I think most people in automatics just wire it to a ground
Also it you are looking for document and manuals for anything you may want to search the downloads section it might all ready be there doc 1008 was not there
the pics are perfect! this is gonna be a breeze.
ok. last question..
on the pdf from directed, it say my truck is a transponder vehicle. I didnt think it was. I have a black key, non-security. I thought the transponder's were with the gray "skim" key that had factory security.
nevermind. My truck is NOT a transponder vehicle.

Hey Guys. I'm looking at the wiring for a 2002 Dakota and it is showing 3 ignition wires. What did you do with the 3rd ignition wire? I know for example the Ultra Start has room for 2 ignition wires?

Sorry, should have been clear. I saw the wire diagram that shows 3 ignition wires on Bulldogs site. http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/diagrams/printpage.asp?ModelID=13847&MakeID=16
But now I'm looking at another diagram from Directed and it's only showing 2 ignition wires.

I see it is real easy to get to a tach wire on the 4.7 L. But what about all the other Liter Dakotas? Would you have to go to the ignition coil? I see you have to take the air filter out to get to the coil, just wondering if there is an easy place to get the tach wire?

Sorry for the question, I really appreciate your help. But how do I know if it's an "uncommon wire"? Or what an Uncommon wire is?

Most Fuel Injectors have two wires.  if you inspect several injectors, you will notice that they all have one wire that is the same color, but each injector has a unique colored wire.  That unique colored wire is the one you want.  Verify with a Digital Multi Meter set to 20V AC.  The reading should be between 1 - 6 volts at idle and rise with RPM's.
Soldering is fun!
