Since the impact sensor just plugs into the alarm (well, on my alarm at least it does), can you just wire the perimeter sensor's wires directly to the impact sensor's wires? (using diodes) I guess I'm a little confused at to why the impact sensor is attaching to TriggerWire#1 and TriggerWire#2.

In other words, like how I have the diagram below:

(by the way, I'm sure I have the diodes facing the wrong way)

not bad...looks good...the reason for the two different triggers is two different sensor....the short one and the long one.....

1. Are the diodes facing the correct way?

2. Do I need 2 diodes to protect the shock sensor, too?

Try not to use the power & ground from the other sensor rather use a new wire. This will have less load on the sensor that is plugged into the alarm CPU. Less troubles as well.
