As long as you don't use the Wiz, program it manually.

Incidentally, had you used V 1.1 it would have given you the valet code. Have you looked at the housing, the middle 4 digits are the valet code, except running Wiz off of a V2.2 probably screwed up all of your settings including the valet pin code.
That's why pros don't use it except as a last resort; and I still enter tach manually, it just can't be done with G5 product and V 2.2.

I never changed the valet code, it was kept as it was originally from the factory.

The module was still recognising the start command from the key fob but nothing else intellistart problems - Page 2 -- posted image.

I plan to manually program the alarm this time.

I had a question with regards to the dual proxy where would be the best place to put it? centre console or in the head lining?

Roof lining facing down, as near to the middle as you can get.
P.S. Keep the older siren, it's much louder than the new ones.

Yes if you are using the I/Start, if so, run tach BLACK/ grey from the I/Start, not the 650.
All other duplicated leads run from the 650.
P.S. Unless you're a dealer or recognised installer you've got no warrantee.

so far so good howie,

Currently i have just the 650 plugged in ive left the intellistart out. Just to make sure everything is ok with the alarm.

Managed to get the proxy into the roof lining but waiting for the darn rain to die down before i set it up.

I should hopefully put my intellistart back in tomorrow, and see if it works correctly with the new alarm.

the laptop hasnt come anywhere near the alarm lol!

Wrong or no brake light connection. You would have no way to access this information which is why amateurs shouldn't even attempt a job like this.
Have you installed LED lights and have you connected the 650 BROWN / red and BROWN / white correctly. DON'T connect the blue white from the I/Start,
only take tach to the I/Start.
Make sure you only get 12V+ on the BROWN / white when the brake is depressed. BROWN / red should be permanently at 12V+.

Cheers howie!
It's all working now, just have one last obstacle.
For some unknown reason the intellistart is stuck in diesel mode.
It's waiting for a start command. I've tested with the glow plug start wire, as soon as I release from ground it start.
Now I've tried to manually program the unit via the installer grid, column three row two, hit the unlock/lock button and I get one chirp to say it is in petrol mode. But still when intellistarting it tries to start like a diesel?
Unsure what this could be its like the module is stuck in diesel mode?
Any ideas?
