Because it mat have been left that way when you originally programmed it via the Wiz. Try reprogramming it with a Wiz but remember to manually redo the tach.

Sorry, forget my last post, the install guide says "you must (manually) reprogram tach after changing it".
Don't get the Wiz out, more a case of RTFM!

cheers howie, managed to get it all sorted in the end. Intellistart works, but wont start on the first go as the crank is too short, fires up on the second go though so that will do.
Im too scared to plug in the laptop due to the issues from before to change the crank time.
Thanks for all the advice Howie, really appreciate it.
next task is the folding door mirrors!

I ran my last car for 4 years that way, just got used to it AND I was able to change the crank time, not the answer.
Current car, a little Almera starts on the button!
I'm going to work out a diagram for the mirror fold. Most mirrors work like a window, the in and out are neg at rest and one goes pos for each direction, also = 5 wire locks with a timer.
I'll post the diagrams later but you must test!
You can either use an aux and a relay for each direction or a pair of 528t timer units.

This is from a Pulsar Turbo import. It should have the same wiring system or method but don't assume, test!.
The way I've set it up mirrors will fold on arming and open on ACC, the action will immediately stop if you quickly turn on the ignition then resume.
Set the timers for 1 second longer than that shown when you use the switch normally. (About 4 seconds).
I've shown 528t colours not the car's colours.
If you're using the GWA orange wire for anything else, such as window closers, remember to diode isolate the orange, 1N4004 inline on each leg, bands towards the alarm.
This makes the action completely automatic and no aux outputs are required. Fuse the 12v+ constants at 10amps for both.

Awesome cheers howie!
I'll have a go later on during the week, and let you know how I get on.
Think I'm going to enjoy the weather and sink some beers!
