Looking at installing an Audiovox Keyless Entry system in the truck, Model number 9845B. Our database here does not have that far up for the diagram. Anyone have any wiring ideas?

 NOTES:

*1 - The BCM is located behind the drivers side of the dash.

*2 - On BASE model trucks the door trigger wires are in the LT.BLUE plug @ BCM, pins B4 and A5. On 4 door trucks the LR door trigger wire is LT. BLUE/BLACK, pin A3, the RR is LT. GREEN/ BLACK, pin A2. They are in the PURPLE plug at the BCM. Use all wires and diode isolate.

*3 - On BASE model trucks the lock wire is LT. BLUE ( - )  and  the unlock wire is WHITE      ( - ). They are in the LT. BLUE plug at the BCM.

*4 - The PCM (Power Control Module) is in the left front of the engine compartment to the left of the fan shroud. The tach wire is in the GREEN plug, pin 10. For tach you can also go to any of the ignition coils and use the wire that is NOT PINK, BLACK or BROWN.  Wait-to-Start wire is BLUE in instrument cluster or PCM.

*5 -  At the BCM in the purple plug, look at row B, cavity two and three should be open with not wires in then. If you make connectors for these pins you can connect them as a( TYPE B ) door locking system.

I am not familiar with a Databus module. What type of lock system is in this truck (reverse polarity? negative trigger? positive trigger? etc.)?

I've never heard of that before... cool sounding word though. So what is a "multiplex databus" and how does it differ from the conventional way of doing things? I reviewed the wiring diagram in one of the links in the above post and it appears to be wired as a Reverse Polarity system.

Use the GMDL for interfacing with the door locks is what you should get. This will make the installation go ALOT easier for you.
