New guy here with a Q. I 've been a long time looker of the forums and this is my first post:

I need info and possibly a diagram showing how to keep a 12v relay latched for apox. 2 mins. Any help is appreciated

i just saw a dei timer on ebay for about $10.00, look for it in the security section.

the the dei pulse timer is cheap and it will do it, pretty easy hook up, i don't rember the 55 wahtever number, i can ship you one if you want, and dei's site is directed.com, you could also do this with an aditional relay, a small resistor and a capacitor... but it's prolly a lot easier to just use the pulse timer

When you push the Button, the timer begins.

If you push it again it resets the time limit.

I use this with a pressure switch on a pressure washer and it lets them wash the trucks as long as they are using the machine.

If they let off of the trigger for 3 min. the machine shuts off automaticly.

If you want a shorter time you can try a smaller capacitor or put a 50k varible resistor in place of the 33k.
