01 silverado 3500 remote start

im starting a new install alarm/remote start on a 2001 chevey silverado 3500hd. my question is do i need just the 556LW for the passlock II or do i also need a Door Lock Interface. and what else would i need for this install... thanks also which 01 diagram should i use for the install

The 556LW only handles the Passlock2.  You will need a 451M door lock module for the (+) locks.  The truck is pretty easy.

No, the 1701G works on the newer 2007 - 2013 body style trucks.
