Hi,
Just finish installing a remote start on my 98 crown vic(PI). I used the all connection per diagram on this site. The abs light only comes on if I remote start the car but, not if I manaully crank up the car. Am I missing something? Thx for any help!
Scytek 5100rs is the remote start I'm using.

Yes. I thought that too but, I have rechecked the wiring I was thinking maybe I need to relay something or something like that. Is there anyway that I can check the alarm brain and make sure its volting right?

Are you saying not to power up the BROWN / pink wire. Instead power the BLACK/ green?

the scytek should should be able ot handle the high current draw. if youare worried it might not be sufficiant wire up a relay like so.

85 - Ground

86 - Ignition input (+) from scytek remote start
87 - high current 12v
30 - to second Ignition wire.

the reason you are gettin airbag light, itsbecause you did not wire up your THIRD ignition
