finding post, latching relay

Acouple weeks ago I was searching posts looking for a discrete approach for a latching relay w / momentary trigger. I found 1 using a ZXMP6A13F P-channel Mosfet and a CD4027B master J K flip flop. Now I can't find any more. As i remember this setup took a momentary pulse to trigger the flip flop and would remain on until triggered to off by a door switch. Does anybody know which post this was or how to set this up? I want to toggle on / off with my remote & trigger to off when the door opens.Only the strong survive.

Not sure if that circuit matches what you're looking for though, that one toggles the output every time a pulse is received. Sounds like you want something with another input to reset the output (when you open the door), along with a pulse input to toggle it on and off. You can use the set or reset inputs on the flip flop to do it, should be easy enough.
