Just going on the information you have though, you may need a relay if the lock wire does not have enough juice running through it to trigger the starter.
Make sure you use the lock wire as your trigger though, and make sure you have tested the wire you are grabbing: Use a Digital Multimeter and the wire should read 12volts at rest, and when you press the lock button on the keyless entry transmitter it should drop to zero volts. if your lock wire that you grabbed tests like that and it does not trigger the remote starter then you will need a relay with the lock wire as the trigger. Oh yeah and once everything is working, dont forget to program the unit to require three pulses to trigger the remote start feature or else you will start your car eveytime you lock the doors.
