little confused (just a little).  So do I need the RED / white (+) 12v input from the relay? It says its the "connection for high current outputs". just eliminate that and hook up my 12v constant power inputs from the 5900 and the xk531 to the red and pink/black ignition 12v wires?

Not yet. I just went and bought a fuse holder/fuse for them. I should have it hooked up in 3 minutes.

ok got the wires hooked together. Now Im going to try and program the xk531 transponder and see if anything happens.  It says to use a "jumper wire" to start the ignition.  Would this just be a 12v wire that i would touch to the ignition wire?

are u talkin about to program that module to the key????? if so... u don't have to do that crap... but u can if u want.... most of the installers i know just insert the first key...... wait about 15 seconds for the factory security light to go out..... remove 1st key...and insert and turn on the second key.... once again wait about 30 seconds this time...... most sentry system cars will now emit a chime after about 30 seconds..... now remote start..... if the car remote starts and then shuts off... it didn't program... u gotta do it all over again..... but if u wanna avoid the possibility of the system locking u out..... follow the programming directions and use like a 16-guage wire to jump power to the cars ignition from 12 volt constant or battery.....

and oh yeah...don't forget to remove the second key completely from the ignition before u try to remote start... don't want that baby to see two keys at once.....

there can be only one.......

Ill give both a try I guess. I noticed when I started my jeep with the key the engine/exhaust sounded "deeper" its weird. I dunno if thats good lol.
