I just got a pair of subs this afternoon, along with a 2ch amp. I got home, and connected one of the subs up to a factory headunit running from a motorcycle battery.
That sub worked fine, had nice bass and sounded clean. I hooked up the other sub, and I hear nothing but high frequencies. I try to push on the cone, and it wont move. I pushed on the other sub and it moved just fine. What could be wrong with this sub? I can get *some* bass out of it if I push on the cone just right, but it wont play on it's own.
Thanks guys, Keith

The one that won't move is probably toast.

It's baked, dude... Take it back.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
