here are some pictures of my new setup, not completely done yet, still need a cover board to hide all the wires and a board to make the speakers look like they are flush mounted.

very nice.
can't wait to see the finished pics of the new setup. Are planning on carpeting the whole thing? Only question I have is why do you need such a humongo sized tachometer when your truck is an automatic?

Thanks,   I will post more pics when i am done, Im not sure yet if i am going to put carpet or or paint the box, im thinking about painting it and putting some crazy artwork on it, and since the only sides you can see are the top and the front I dont see any reason to paint the whole box.

The reason for the tach is that i have a built 350 with a little over 400hp and it revs to almost 8000 rpms and I like to keep close tabs on what the engine is doing and the stock tach does not go that high. I have a lot of other gauges in the truck that you just cant see in the pictures.

yes i did build the box myself, it cost less than 100 bucks for everthing you see not including the amps, speakers, and wire. the local shop wanted more than 400 for them to do it.  I should be finished with all of the wood work this weekend so i will post more pics when its done. i have decided to put carpet on it instead of paint, less prep work and i dont have a lot of time right now.

I did not know the truck was in an accident. It just looks a lot like a truck on Youtube that somebody drove into a telephone pole. It appears as though youtube links as well as fleabay links do not work here.

youtube.com and search idiot truck telephone pole    It looks a lot like your truck. Different year same color big tires etc.
