I think i read somewhere that you can use the camshaft sensor wire (brow/white) for the tach sense wire, is this ok or is there something better?

Yes,  but can you use the camshaft position sensor(BROWN / white) because i am having a problem finding the correct white wire on the 4 cyl ,also i want to know what color the bulb check wire is

Bulb check is the thin black in with the two red high current at the key.
As far as the tach wire, on the 4 cyl you can get at an injector (not pink wire) on the driver's end of the motor, or, yes, you can use the cam position sensor.
The white wire is also found in harness at passenger's end of firewall where is passes through to the ECU.   Easiest is the injector.
Wherever I go, that is where I end up......
